Lots of Flash bells and whistles piled onto a "Legend of the Green Dragon" framework doesn't make a great game; it doesn't even make a good one. However, if you can get over the tedious Action Point mechanics and the idea that you're more likely to have microtransactions nibble you to death than get eaten by a grue, you will find a game that does try its hardest to convey an authentic Zork-like experience.
And it looks like it's gotten much better since launch. But I was underwhelmed.
